Shawarma House - Kanata: The Ultimate Shawarma Experience in Kanata

Very good portion and flavourful. We got a mixed plate and a large chicken salad and both were amazing. Definitely a shawarma place worth visiting!

One of my favorite shawarma shops in Kanata. Always ask for added rice and it’s never a problem. Always go for the classic chicken shawarma.

Been coming here since I was a kid, not once have I received bad service. They are extremely friendly, kind and genuine. Never had a bad plate of food, straight away walk in and they are smiling when you get to the counter.

This food is always amazing and absolutely always consistent. The staff are so funny and having fun with what they do on a daily basis. I have been going to this place for over 10 years and I really enjoy the food, the staff, the management, and the ownership. Although Shawarma is a staple in Ottawa, but this place absolutely takes the lien shares of my Shawarma intake in the city. Highly recommend the family platter lots of food and they also recommend you to try out there beef Shawarma. They do also great falafel sandwiches.

I was skeptical about this place specially that I make my own shawarma and know how things are supposed to be. We drove about 40 minutes to get there. Food is amazing. Food isn’t overly slated , The garlic sauce isn’t overly flavoured just like what it is supposed to be. Portions are generous and it is reasonably priced. Not much to look at, but the food is good. The sandwiches are large, and the platters are gargantuan. Chicken was well done, and the veggies were very fresh. The poutine took a bit of extra time to make (fresh fries), but was good with the extra chicken in it. The Happy Couple platter is enormous! Feeds 6 comfortably!

Hands down the best shawarma in Ottawa! Our family has tried numerous places, but this one has become our absolute favorite. We make the drive from Stittsville just to enjoy it. The wraps are generously loaded with fresh ingredients, and the flavors are simply outstanding. The chicken is always juicy and tender—never dry. To top it off, the service is consistently warm and friendly.

Without a doubt, the best shawarma place in Kanata and possibly all of Ottawa. Ali and his staff are pleasant, friendly and so helpful. We just had a big group meal for 60 people and everything was fresh, tasty, and plentiful. Whether you're going in for a single meal, family meal, or bigger event, you can't go wrong with this wonderful place.
